Twist and Twine: 18 Ideas for Rag Rugs and Home Decor
Readers are introduced to the basic techniques of fabric twining, a traditional craft that has been around since the 1800s and only reintroduced in the last 10 years. Four extraordinary rug projects with a modern sensibility keep the tradition alive, but then the basics are taken to a new level with three-dimensional items, such as bowls, boxes and baskets, and household items. There are even projects to revamp old chairs and outdoor furniture.
